Announcements:

- The Trigonometry final exam will be given during the final exam period on Wednesday, December 12 from 10:00-11:50 am in the usual lecture room.
As usual, no graphing or programmable calculators will be permitted, but you may use a scientific calculator.

- Quiz 2 will be given on Friday, August 31 and will consist of one of the problems from Homework 2.
- Quiz 3 will be given on Friday, September 7 and will consist of one of the problems from Homework 3.
- Exam 1 will be given on Friday, September 14, and will cover the material in sections P.8, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 10.1, and 10.2. You may bring and use a scientific calculator, but no graphing or programmable calculators will be permitted.
- Quiz 4 will be given on Friday, September 21 and will consist of one of the problems from Homework 5.
- Quiz 5 will be given on Friday, September 28 and will consist of one of the problems from Homework 6.
- Quiz 6 will be given on Friday, October 5 and will consist of one of the problems from Homework 7.
- Quiz 7 will be given on Thursday, October 11 and will consist of one of the problems from Homework 8.
- The Algebra Final will be given on Wednesday, October 17. It will be cumulative, covering all sections of the course to this point. To help you study, you may wish to review this list of exam material and this list of review problems.
- You must pass the Trig Ratios Quiz, on the values of sin, cos, and tan of the angles π/6, π/4, and π/3, before Friday, November 9, or you will be assessed a 5% penalty on the exam. No calculators will be permitted. Come to office hours to take a makeup quiz.
- Exam 3 will be given on Friday, November 9. It will cover material from sections 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, and 6.5.
