I am an Associate Professor of philosophy at West Virginia University. My primary research interests are currently in metaphysics and fundamental ontology, with an eye to how those areas bear on more specific issue in philosophy of mind. I am also passionate about teaching. One of the most rewarding things I do is help others engage in the honest reflections and careful thinking that philosophy encourages.
