My research interests center on how prejudicial attitudes form, can be reduced, and how they influence the well-being, treatment-seeking behaviors, and clinical health outcomes of sexual and racial minorities. I also am interested in those with multiple minority identities, particularly those with both LGBT and racial minority identities, and how their identities shape their experiences. The overarching goal of my scholarship is to devise intervention or preventative measures in order to alleviate or mitigate the effects of the stigmas that accompany marginalization, along with devising predictive and intervention measures concerning prejudice.
