My research focuses on second language reading and literacy, including topics on comprehension strategies, discourse structure, reading fluency, vocabulary, and the influence of first language literacy on second language literacy development.
I teach graduate-level courses in Research Methods, Language Assessment, ESL Theory, Computer-Assisted Language Learning, and Second Language Literacy. I also teach an undergraduate course in Introduction to Language.
