- Exam
1 will be given in class on Friday, January 31. It will
cover material from sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5.
You will be permitted to use a scientific calculator, but no
graphing/programmable calculators will be allowed.
- Exam 2 will be given on Wednesday, February 26. It will
cover material from sections 1.6, 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 6.1, and
6.2. You will be permitted to use a scientific calculator,
but no graphing/programmable calculators will be allowed.
- Exam 3 will be given on Friday, March 13. It will cover
material from sections 1.7 and 2.5. You will be permitted to
use a scientific calculator, but no graphing/programmable
calculators will be allowed.
- Quiz 5 will be given online on Thursday, April 9 through
MyOpenMath. You will be able to access the quiz any time
between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on Thursday, but once you click on the
quiz, you will only have 15 minutes to complete both
problems! Do not click on the quiz until you are ready to
take it!
- I will be posting weekly schedules here so that you can
keep on track.
- Exam 4 will be given online on Wednesday, April 15 through
MyOpenMath and will cover the material in Sections 3.1, 3.2, 3.3,
and 3.4. You will be able to access the exam any time
between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm on Wednesday, but once you click on
the exam, you will only have 75 minutes to complete the
problems! Do not click on the exam until you are ready to
take it! You may use the course textbook, class notes, and
a calculator. You may not use your phone, any other books,
or any internet resources besides ones featured on the course
websites. At the beginning of the exam, you will be asked to
write and sign an academic honesty oath confirming that you have
followed these instructions. You will need pieces of paper
to write your work on. After you finish the exam, you must
scan or take pictures of your work and email them to me before
11:59 pm on Wednesday night. For most problems, you must
submit your work to receive credit.
- Quiz 6 will be given online on Friday, April 24 through
MyOpenMath. It will cover the material in Section 4.1.
You will be able to access the quiz any time between 9:00 am and
5:00 pm on Friday, but once you click on the quiz, you will only
have 15 minutes to complete both problems! Do not click on
the quiz until you are ready to take it!
