Announcements:

 - The cumulative trigonometry exam will be given on Wednesday, December 17 from 8:00 am to 9:50 am in the usual lecture room.  As usual, no graphing or programmable calculators will be permitted, but you should bring a scientific calculator.  To review, you may wish to review this list of exam material and this list of practice problems.




Homework Assignments
As a reminder, all homework is to be completed online at MyOpenMath.com.  You can find all due dates there.

Old Announcements:
 - Exam 1 will be given in class on Friday, September 19. It will cover the material from Chapter 2, Chapter 11, and Sections 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4. You may bring and use a scientific calculator, but no notes or books or graphing calculators will be permitted.  To help you prepare, I will have extra office hours in the library on Thursday, September 18 from 4:00-5:30pm, so you should feel free to stop by and ask questions to aid your review.
 - The cumulative algebra exam will be given in class on Thursday, October 23, and Friday, October 24.  Thursday's portion will be multiple choice, and you will not be permitted to use any calculator.  For Friday's portion, you will be permitted to bring and use a scientific calculator.  The exam will cover everything in the course so far.  To help you study, you may wish to review this list of exam material and this list of practice problems.  Additionally, I will have extra office hours in the library from 3:30 - 5:00pm on Wednesday, October 22 and Thursday, October 23, so you should feel free to stop by and ask questions to aid your review.
 - Exam 3 will be given in class on Friday, November 14.  It will cover the material from Chapter 7, Chapter 8, and the basic trig equations from Section 9.5.  You should bring a scientific calculator to use, but no notes or books or graphing calculators will be permitted.  To help you prepare, I will have extra office hours in the library on Thursday, November 13 from 3:30-5:00pm, so you should feel free to stop by and ask questions to aid your review.
