Announcements:
- The final exam will be given on Monday, April 29 from
10:00 am to 11:50 am in the usual lecture room, and will cover the
material in Sections 2.6, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, and 5.4. No
books/notes will be permitted.

turned in on paper on the due date. Note that a number
followed by a sequence of letters (such as 4acd) indicates

Old Announcements:
- Exam 1 will be given in class on Wednesday,

- Exam 2 will be given in class on Wednesday, March
6, and will cover the material in Sections 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4,
2.5, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and 3.5. No books/notes will be
permitted.
- As announced in class on Friday, March 8, there
will be a "curve" of 5 points on everyone's Exam 2.
Additionally, you may earn 5 more points on Exam 2 by writing up a
valid proof of the set inclusion that I gave in class and which
can be found here.
Please turn in your proof on Monday, March 18.

4.4. No books/notes will be permitted.
