James Mosley

Math Department of West Wirginia University

The worlds we live in

It is possible to have a philisophy of almost anything, including mathematics. In some sense, there exist five worlds of mathematics. Each is different from the rest. As they are developed individualy and collectively, each is more abstract than the previous. Each can be enjoyed and used to improve and enrich our lives.

The talk will be suitable for undergraduate students.
