Gary is Spongebob's pet snail with similar characteristics of a snail. Believe it or not, his full name is actually Garold Wilson Jr. A fun fact about Gary is that he is Patrick Star's first cousin. Spongebob has had Gary as a pet ever since he lived with his parents.
