Announcements:

 - The cumulative trigonometry exam will be given on Wednesday, December 13 from 10:00 am to 11:50 am in the usual lecture room.  As usual, no graphing or programmable calculators will be permitted, but you may use a scientific calculator.  To review, you may wish to review this list of exam material and this list of practice problems.




Homework Assignments
As a reminder, all homework is to be completed online at MyOpenMath.com.  You can find all due dates there.

Old Announcements:
 - As a reminder, the weekly homework assignments and quizzes will begin tomorrow (Friday, August 25).  The first homework assignments are due tomorrow on MyOpenMath by the beginning of class, and the first quiz will be given tomorrow in class.
 - Exam 1 will be given in class on Friday, September 15.  It will cover the material from Chapter 2, Chapter 11, and Sections 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3.  You may bring and use a scientific calculator (such as the calculators given out in class), but no notes or books or graphing calculators will be permitted.
 - The cumulative algebra exam will be given in class on Thursday, October 19, and Friday, October 20.  Thursday's portion will be multiple choice, and you will not be permitted to use any calculator.  For Friday's portion, you will be permitted to bring and use a scientific calculator.  The exam will cover everything in the course so far.  To help you study, you may wish to review this list of exam material and this list of practice problems.
 - Exam 3 will be given in class on Friday, November 10.  It will cover the material from Chapter 7, Chapter 8, and Section 9.5.  You may bring and use a scientific calculator (such as the calculators given out in class), but no notes or books or graphing calculators will be permitted.
