  - If you have not successfully passed the trig quiz by April 6, you will be penalized 5% on Exam 4.
  - The final exam will be given on Friday, May 4 from 8:00 to 9:50 am in the normal lecture room.  To help you study for the exam, you may find it useful to review this list of practice problems, and this list of exam material.

  - Quiz 1 will be given on Friday, January 19. It will consist of one of the problems from Homework 1.
 - The first exam will be given on Friday, January 26. It will cover sections P.8, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 10.1, and 10.2.
 - Quiz 2 will be given on Friday, February 2. It will consist of one of the problems from Homework 3.
 - Quiz 3 will be given on Friday, February 9, and will cover Homework 4.
 - Quiz 4 will be given on Friday, February 16 and will cover the material on Homework 5.
 - Exam 2 will be given on Wednesday, February 21 and will cover sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.6, 2.7, 2.8, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and 3.6.
 - Quiz 5 will be given on Friday, March 2, and will cover the material on Homework 7.
 - Exam 3 will be given on Friday, March 9 and will cover the material in sections 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, and 4.5.
 - On Thursday, March 29, you will have a mandatory quiz will be on the trig ratios of special angles.  That is, you will need to memorize the values of sin, cos, and tan for the angles π /6,  π /4, and π /3. 
- Exam 4 will be given on Friday, April 6.  It will cover the material in sections 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5.
