Unforgivable Math Errors

Announcements:
  - The Final Exam will be given on Wednesday, December 17 from 10:00-11:50 am in the usual lecture room.  It will cover material from the entire course.  You may prepare and bring one 8.5" by 11" sheet of paper with any formulas, problems, or any other information you would like to use on the exam.  You can use both front and back of this sheet.  Additionally, you may use a scientific calculator.  To help you study for the exam, you may wish to review this list of exam material and this list of practice problems.



Homework:
(All homework will be completed online via MyOpenMath.com.)

Old Announcements:
  - Exam 1 will be given on Wednesday, September 17.  It will cover material from Sections 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, and 3.7.  You may bring and use a scientific calculator, but no graphing calculators will be allowed.  To help you prepare, I will have extra office hours in the library on Tuesday, September 16 from 3:00-4:30pm, so you should feel free to stop by and ask questions to aid your review.
  - Exam 2 will be given on Wednesday, October 8.  It will cover material from Sections 3.6, 2.4, 4.3, and 5.1.  You may bring and use a scientific calculator, but no graphing calculators will be allowed.  To help you prepare, I will have extra office hours in the library on Tuesday, October 7 from 2:30-4:00pm, so you should feel free to stop by and ask questions to aid your review.
 - Exam 3 will be given on Friday, October 31.  It will cover material from Sections 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6.  You may bring and use a scientific calculator, but no graphing calculators will be allowed.  To help you prepare, I will have extra office hours in the library on Thursday, October 30 from 3:30-5:00pm, so you should feel free to stop by and ask questions to aid your review.
 - Exam 4 will be given on Wednesday, November 19.  It will cover material from Sections 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, and 6.4.  You may bring and use a scientific calculator, but no graphing calculators will be allowed.  To help you prepare, I will have extra office hours in the library on Monday, November 18 from 5:00ish-6:30pm, so you should feel free to stop by and ask questions to aid your review.
