Camera Rochester
Since 1970, Camera Rochester has sought to stimulate interest in photography for people in the Greater Rochester Area.
The photographic skills of the club's members are as diverse as the members themselves. Graphics, nature, portraits, landscapes, close-up (macro), fine art and technical photography are just some of the subjects that make our bi-monthly meetings interesting. Competitions for color prints and slides, black and white, and alternative processes are held on the first Monday of each month. Programs, including demonstrations and lectures occur on the third Monday of the month. Members learn about photography's past, present and future, as well as state-of-the-art techniques. The club stays very active with other activities, such as photo field trips, retreats and exhibitions of our members' best images at local Rochester galleries.
Camera Rochester members help each other learn more about cameras and photography in a friendly atmosphere. It is never too early or late to start taking photographs. If you enjoy photography, then please join us. Monday meetings are held at the Atonement Lutheran Church, 1900 Westfall Road in Brighton, New York. (We don't meet in July or August.)
