Friday Aug 15

I covered most of section 12.3. Homework due Wednesday 12.1 #8, 14, 16, 28, 30 and 12.2 #12, 20, 24, 30, 36.

Tuesday Jan 19

I finished section 12.3 and almost finished section 12.4. Hw from 12.1 and 12.2 due tomorrow. Quiz on 12.3 and 12.4 on Friday.

Wed Jan 20

I collected homework, finsihed section 12.4 and covered about half of 12.5. Quiz Friday. If we have a snow delay check your mix e-mail!

Friday Jan 22

Classes canceled due to expected heavy snowfall. Take home quiz e-mailed to students.

Tues Jan 26

I finished section 12.5. Yipee!

Wednesday Jan 27

Homework and quizzes returned (with solutions). We covered most of section 12.6, I just need to do an example of a hyperbolic paraboloid.

I finished section 14.4 and covered the chain rule from 14.5. I did not manage to cover implicit differentiation. Exam II moved to Tuesday March 1 (both parts)

I finished 14.5 and covered the two dimension case of 14.6

Tuesday Feb 23

I finished 14.6 and started 14.7. I defined and found critical points, but have not yet used them to find maximums and minimums.

I passed back the homework and finished section 15.7. The remaining part of Exam III will cover 15.1 - 15.7

Friday Mar 18

I covered cylidrical coordinates from 15.8 and passed out a practice exam. Students were also given an extra credit problem to do over break. Have a great Spring Break!
