Potato consumption per capita reached 32.6 in 2013 in the world. The all time high per capita in the world was 35.7 in 1961 and all time low of 26 in 1991. While China leads in world potato consumption with 47 million tons that is because of the population. When looking at per capita, Belarus leads with 181kg consumed per capita. Other countries follow like Kyrgyzstan with 143kg, Ukraine with 136kg, Russia and Poland both with 131kg, Rwanda with 125kg, Lithuania with 116kg, Latvia with 114kg, Kazakhstan with 103kg and the United Kingdom around 102kg.
