This is a marker and colored pencil illustration that I finished in March 2015. The scene is that of a sunset in Lahaina, a city on the island of Maui, Hawaii. The Hawaiian Islands hold a special place in my heart, and the sunsets are one of my favorite things to see there. Lahaina sunsets in particular are some of the most spectacular I've seen in my travels. Therefore, I had to capture it in an illustration. Below is the photograph I referenced, taken by myself in 2012.
