Math 448 - Probability and Statistics
Fall 2024
Syllabus
Announcements:
- The Final Exam will be given on Wednesday, December 18 from
8:00 am to 9:50 am in the usual lecture room. It will cover
material from the entire course. You may prepare and bring one
8.5" by 11" sheet of paper with any formulas, problems, or any other
information you would like to use on the exam. You can use
both front and back of this sheet. Additionally, you may use a
scientific calculator. To help you study for the exam, you may
wish to review this list of exam material.
Also, here's a collection of a bunch
of probability problems that I put together a few years ago,
which might help refresh your memory on that part of the course.
- In the process of making your formula sheet, you may or may
not find it useful to consider this packet of information
assembled for FE Review, which contains both topics covered in
the course and lots of topics that weren't covered in the course.
- The Final
Bonus Homework can be completed for bonus points on the Final
Exam, and it is due at the exam on Wednesday, December 18.
