ACS Final Exam Information & PrepThe Chemistry 234 Final Exam this semester will be the standardized ACS Organic Chemistry Exam. Everyone must take the ACS Final Exam. The ACS final exam will be held at your regularly scheduled final exam time.
Thursday May 2th 2019 from 2-4 pm in Clark 101
Everyone in Clark 101 for the final!!
For the Exam
- Bring a pencil and a photo ID. You do not need anything else!
- I will provide the ACS Exam, Scantron, Scrap Paper, and a Periodic Table
- You are not allowed to write in the ACS Exam booklet! All work must be done on the scrap paper.
By my count there are three questions that pertain to material that we did not cover during organic I or II. Obviously answering these questions will only serve to help your grade, however, when computing the exam score, I will divide by 67 (instead of 70) so that you are not penalized for not knowing the answers to these questions.
ACS does not allow supplemental data to be provided on the exam. You will not be allowed to use any notes, calculators, or model kits.
Study Materials:
1. Organic I Review Questions have been added to TopHat
2. An ACS Practice Exam will be available on TopHat (by Tuesday)
4. Slides for the Organic I Portion of the ACS Review (Monday 4/29 5 pm, Clark 101)
